Guide – Tips to take with you before you go out into nature:

1. Do I have the right equipment to cope with a day/night in nature? Tip: Get a good bag and start by packing correctly but lightly! See the packing list below.
2. Where are you going to go or hike? Tip: Nature reserves and national parks may have special rules for, for example, grilling, wind protection and cabins. You can read more about information & rules at Sverigesnationalparker.se or lansstyrelsen.se
3. Are you going to drive to a nature area? Tip: Parking spaces in many places can be tight and few. If possible, leave the car at home and take the bike or take a walk.
4. Do you have a plan for how to get your trash home? Tip: Collect everything in a bag and take everything home with you. Never leave leftover food in shelters or cabins, it quickly turns into rubbish.
5. -Are you going to make a fire? Tip: Always have water close at hand. The best place to make a fire is in already prepared fire places. Burn only where fire cannot spread or damage land, plants and animals. Always take the disposable grill home with you.
6. - No toilet in sight? Tip: Needs have no law and it's okay to go to the toilet in nature. Always bring something to dig with like a garden spade. Dig a pit where you defecate, cover with soil. Use hand sanitizer and wipes, always bring this home again.
7. -Enjoy outdoor dining! Tip: Bring a storm kitchen or firewood that you can fire. Make food over an open fire, such as grilling sausages or other goodies.
